Teppo is the boy we kept from our special Angel litter. He was
imported in whelp from Sire Fidelis Esaias. He has more than lived up to our
expectations. His Pleasing head, very good bone, flowing effortless movement,
correct tail and an excellent coat , all sum up this young
man as a quality Finnish Lapphund.

Teppo went through the ganglies and became very leggy with
everything looking awkward. Then all of a sudden it all stabalized again and he
regained his wow factor.
Whilst taking time to develop his balance,
coat and head again he was still making some significant
wins in the showring.

Teppo honoured the breed well in the Qld Puppy
of the Year competition. He won his first round but lost in the second to a
lovely Norwich Terrier. Teppo has lots of potential and is still coming into his
own within his breed. Teppo has been the first Finnish Lapphund in Australia
to represent their breed at a higher than show level. |
He won Minor in group at his first Minor outing
and then only another month on won Minor in Show which qualified him for the Qld
Puppy of the Year competition. This was a first for lappies in
Australia.
Another 4 months and we gained a Best in Group
winning that over many multi Best in Show winners.

Teppo is developing into a stately gentleman. He has oodles
of bone and his mother's coat. Shorter on the guard hair but
masses of thick undercoat. |

My ugly duckling has returned as the beautiful swan he
began as.

Teppo is certainly not the black boy we thought he was.
He is definitely a bear brown as his brown hairs go right to
the skin.
