2023
Aarre attended shows at the end of December and January gaining only Best of Breed. I still waiting to attend a show due to the pups from the J litter still being here.
As I am running the household solely now it was time to let some older lappies, girls that have finished their breeding cycles and sibes go to their final homes.
What can i say about Sid and Laura at the Gold Coast?
Amber and Ranger have fallen on their feet, loved and living the life of luxury. Thank you Sid for contacting me about these kids.

Promise leaves in February to go live with Sunny aka Snofyre Fortune Hunter with my son, grandson and daughter-in-law.
Also leaving on a show holiday is Sisko to be campaigned by Mel Scriven. May I wish Mel lots of luck with this determined but pretty girl.
What a way to start?!!!
Runner Up to Best in Group on Friday morning then following that on Saturday with a Runner Up Best in Show under Lynne Harwood. Thank you to Alex, Mel, Sisko and Lynne.

2022
Well 2022 has come and gone without anything done to my website.
It was a difficult year across the board with some excitement towards the end of the year.
March saw Col's passing and causing me to take on the Theldaroy Prefix alone.
June I began to bring out Aarre again to complete the final 300 points to her Grand championship. She did that by August along with 5 Best in Group wins and a Best in Show till then.
We then thought well we may as well push on and see if we could catch that allusive Supreme Championship. By December she needed only 1 further Best in Group and gaining that with Hayley on the lead under a Group 5 judge Mrs Donna Puttock.
Aarre is now a Supreme Champion making her the first female to gain that award in 21 years of owning Lappies in Australia. I could not be more proud. She joins others from this kennel in making history. Those being the first to gain the title Sup Ch Lapinlumon Mundus Imp Fin and also the then youngest Sup Ch Theldaroy Anyone Dare To Diffa.
Aarre finished the Finnish Lapphund Pointscore year with being the number 1 National female and number 3 showdog and Best of Breed behind 2 lovely males.

The In litter from frozen semen was born in March. This was a dual sire mating using Walther and Lappkees Akela the Great Wolf, both from Denmark.
Subsequent DNA testing proved that only Akela took giving us 3 pups.

In October I was thrilled to judge the Lapphund specialty show for the Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria.
I gave the Best in Show to a very typey bitch who was well balanced overall and particularly holding to the standard in her head, having a broad skull with the desired muzzle length slightly less than her skull. Her movement was balanced and easygoing as desired by our standard.
1st Ch. Caleebra Summer Sweetheart (AI) – BEST OPEN IN SHOW
Correct outline, topline, tail set; correctly proportioned head, dark eyes, well set correct ears; well angled front and back; good bone throughout; adequate forechest; full correct coat and texture; moves with good reach and drive in profile and correctly coming and going; tail carried correctly in movement. EXCELLENT
My Reserve in Show went to my challenge dog who is impeccably groomed and a true showman. He moves freely with ease even with his slightly larger boning, has a good forechest and correct balance throughout his body. His head is very pretty but let me down as his muzzle is very short compared to the length of his skull. This is not what our standard is asking for. This is the reason for his Reserve placement with the bitch.
1st CIB Sup Ch. Taigakoira Tahtien Valo – BEST OPPOSITE OPEN IN SHOW
Very pleasing correct outline with exc. harsh double coat; straight topline; highset tail carried well on move; moves very well out/back and in profile; exc. pro-sternum; nicely boned, well balanced; very pleasing head with sufficiently dark eye and well-set ears; good width of muzzle, would prefer a little more length to muzzle. EXCELLENT
