December
Well December started badly with the loss of Angel on the 9th. She was nearly 17 and had difficultly standing. I was not going to put her through that stress and anxiety. Angel was our second foundation bitch and threw her structure and gentle temperament all the time. We are still not coping with going into the patio and not finding her laying in our way. RIP gorgeous girl.
One of the Beyond kids at just over 2 weeks of age developed a tummy infection and passed away within a few hours. RIP Little one.
Paige is due to have her babies, Romeo and Oriane go to the last show for us for 2020.
We look forward to 2021.

Well the year could get not worse! This morning 21/12 on the morning of Torvi's last litter turning 1, we found her dead in her bed.
I went out into her day run and found a portion of a brown snake missing its head and much of its body. Torvi had sadly and unknown to me taken a strike plus eating the head caused her death. We were thrilled with the litters that she has produced and I had a super one in the planning stage as her last litter. Among those she has produced is Nukka and Romeo from our Zero litter. Torvi's daughter was mated and gave Chrissy at Snofyre Olaf and muself Oriane. We both look forward to the future with these youngsters. RIP Beautiful, gentle Torvi aka Ch Snofyre Dutchdesire AI |
November
Throughout this month I have been able to get to a couple of shows. This is great news that the youngsters Romeo and Keli are getting some ring training, trolley training and general socialization. They still have a way to go but as they have missed shows until they are 11 months old, I cannot expect too much.
We have the Beyond litter on the ground. Born several days early, all viable and thriving. Bit of a shock to find them being born 5 days early.
Another major shock was the arrival of the Ffk Litter between Promise and Zutki. This was NOT a litter I had planned. I had separated Promise from Zutki once I found her in season. Obviously I missed by a day or so. Promise had whelped and cleaned these pups herself and we found them next morning with her. She did not even look pregnant.

May
The start of the month proved very sad as Myah our Matriarch Siberian passed away in her sleep around 8am. She was OK at 7 when I saw her. Mymy was nearly 14 and taught a lot of junior handlers how to show a Siberian. She was not a huge winner in the ring but did beat both of the top winning Siberian girls of her age multiple times. This same week says farewell to Ranger who goes to have a running partner in Caboolture. |
We have mated Sassy to Odin. This litter is all spoken for already.
April
Well this is a sad month but exciting for our Siberians. We have decided that we are too old to run the Siberians and we have some quality dogs just sitting in our yard due to not being able to campaign them. As a result we have made the VERY hard but best choice for our dogs. They are going to new homes.
Gazza has gone to Michele at Darshiva to be shown by Rebecca. Myah will at 14, live her life out with us. The was sadly much sooner than we expected with Myah departing this life at home.
Trouble is going desexed to a family home, as is Ranger.
Amber is going to join the Eukanmanuva team in NSW.
The frozen semen which we own is also available: Can Ch Bain's Northern Limited Edition. NOW SOLD

March
This month saw Gayle and I travelling in Europe. It also saw the start of the world pandemic which caused us to cut our European vacation very short.
As a result of this virus we have been isolated at home. No shows. No dog events of any form. So there will not be much to report on in 2020.
Although having said that Promise was mated to Odin which is a Promise litter for her breeder. Furballs will be having this litter with her.
We will mate Sassy to Odin as well when she comes into season. This was to be a frozen semen litter but as travel even by car is to be minimized we had to alter our plans to one of our own boys. This should be a really nice litter as well. We have been very pleased with Odin's progeny.
Our November pups are getting older and learning how to walk on leads but will not see a show for many, many months to come.

January & February
With no shows for us due to the litters of pups, we were very excited to receive an invitation to the Victorian Night of Nights for Vieno as he won Puppy in Show whilst we were doing the November shows. We did consider attending but elected not to due to being in Melbourne the week before.
Wow what a busy time this has been. The Zero Litter and Joulu Litter have been growing like weeds, pooping and eating. All have outgoing natures and can be a tad noisy when playing.
We are currently working on them leaving us and going to their new homes. The new owners are so excited about their pending arrivals.
Only 2 weekends of shows in February with Oriane being the star gaining 2 Best of Breed wins over Aarre and others.
