News 2017
September to December
Not much happening on the show scene in these months. I was away judging and therefore did not attend shows for the kids.
We did have the Quite litter born to Torvi - Ch Snofyre Dutch Desire AI to frozen semen from Lecibsin Kepponen (Fin)
The end of the year saw me judging in China at Christmas time and arriving home in time to have the roof blown off the shed spreading it over the paddocks for a km or so.

July & August
Aamu has turned 6 months old. She completed her Baby Class with 9 Baby in Groups under her belt and converting 1 to a Baby in Show award. I guess now that she is playing in the big kids arena, I had better get her walking on lead better. |

May & June
May started out well with a couple of Neuter in group wins for Whisper, along with a Neuter in Show at the Working Dog Club and Runner Up to Best Neuter in Show at the Working Dog Club Show, and Sth Burnett National, Kingaroy.
Aamu worked well with Anthea to gain a lovely Baby in Group win. This was the first of many that Aamu has gained over these couple of months. She has also managed a couple of Baby in Show awards as well.
Whisper has gained her Neuter title quickly with many neuter in group wins and also 2 show wins along the way.
May started out well with a couple of Neuter in group wins for Whisper, along with a Neuter in Show at the Working Dog Club and Runner Up to Best Neuter in Show at the Working Dog Club Show, and Sth Burnett National, Kingaroy.

March & April
Mid April we attended Mt Perry show. We came away with a Best In Show for Amber and another Best in Group for Riki. This makes # 29 to match his 52 Runner Up to Best in Group wins. Nearly there for our goal of 30 Best in Group wins.
Not much to report during March but we ventured down to Sydney for the Royal and Specialty. Whilst not our dogs now Vidar and Ryker did well in their respective classes and Vidar even came away with a Reserve Challenge at the Royal. Riki going 2nd in the Open dog class.
At the specialty we managed a little better with the dogs we took.

Not much of note over the Summer. Minimal shows entered, nothing done in relation to herding or trialling due to heat.
At the end of February we attended the Canberra royal and loved our time spent with the other lappie exhibitors from Victoria and NSW. Loved catching up with Elle in the ACT.
We did not do as well as we would like with the boys but Piia (totally bald) blew us away with Aust Bred of Breed over some lovely competition.
